Marine Petrolatum Paste
A primer for increasing the adhesion of Anticorrosive Tape

Brown soft paste can be applied underwater by hand,brush or roller. It is a petrolatum based compound for the preparation of metal surfaces underwater before the application of marine petrolatum tape.It forms a layer of protective compound onto the surface such that water is displaced and voids filled when the petrolatum tape
is installed.

Marine PetrolatumTape of PileCoat Splash and tide zone anti-corrosion protection System provides protection for steel, concrete and timber structures in the splash and intertidal zones. This Heavy Duty system protect the substrate against oxygen and water, preventing corrosion and deterioration. The system can withstand the most aggressive environments.

Product Overview

The paste is mainly made up of soft petrolatum containing water displacing, corrosion inhibiting and flow control additives and broad spectrum bactericides. No volatile organic components.
Surface Preparation: Surfaces should be free from loose rust, flaking coatings,marine growth,scales.
