Project Overview

Snam is one of Europe's leading energy infrastructure operators and the primary operator of Italy's national gas transmission network. Its pipeline replacement programme is a large-scale initiative aimed at upgrading aging gas transmission lines to meet modern safety, environmental, and performance standards.

For this project, CNpetro supplied 2PE heat shrink sleeves designed for the corrosion protection of field joints on two-layer polyethylene (2PE) coated pipelines. These sleeves are engineered to deliver reliable adhesion, mechanical protection, and long-term corrosion resistance in buried gas transmission environments.
