The main causes of tank accidents are corrosion and leakage, and external corrosion is mainly caused by the corrosion of the outer wall of the tank bottom plate and humid atmospheric corrosion; Internal corrosion mainly refers to the corrosion of the tank bottom, tank wall, and tank top. Among the above corrosion states, the most difficult to treat is the corrosion of the tank bottom plate. The connection between the outer edge plate of the tank bottom and the foundation is complex and irregularly shaped, and the technical problem of anti-corrosion, waterproof, and sealing at this location has always been a challenge for the industry.

One reason is that the connection between the base of the tank and the bottom plate of the tank body causes radial expansion and contraction of the bottom plate due to temperature changes in the environment;

The second reason is that the deformation of the oil tank is caused by the load change of the oil transportation and storage capacity. When the oil tank is subjected to liquid, a large circumferential stress is generated due to the static hydraulic pressure, causing horizontal displacement of the oil tank along the radius direction. The edge plate cannot expand outward due to being firmly welded to the bottom plate, resulting in deformation at the edge plate and generating edge stress. This stress, together with the resistance of the base to the edge plate, causes plastic deformation of the outer ring of the bottom plate; When the oil tank is empty, the tank body returns to its original state, but the edge plate curls upwards due to plastic deformation,

In this way, the conventional sealing waterproof material in this area is also prone to sealing failure. Previously, commonly used anti-corrosion methods were CTPU, fiberglass, asphalt mortar, waterproof membranes, and other materials. After two to three years of operation, the anti-corrosion layer will fail, causing rainwater to enter the foundation of the bottom plate and accelerate the corrosion of the tank bottom. The local corrosion rate can even reach 0.3-0.4 mm/year, causing local perforation and leakage accidents, seriously threatening production safety.

PTU 102 high-temperature mineral grease anti-corrosion paste
PTU 103 high-temperature mineral grease anti-corrosion putty (anti-corrosion adhesive)
PTU 104 high-temperature mineral grease anti-corrosion tape
PTU 105 UV resistant linear aluminum foil adhesive sealing tape

USAGE:
This system is applied to the anti-corrosion and waterproof sealing protection of metal edge plates and concrete structures of various types of tank bodies, such as newly built and repaired oil tanks, fire water tanks, petrochemical raw material tanks, and chemical raw materials.

 

 

 

Clean the surface of the cement thoroughly, without impurities or soil. Clean the metal surface thoroughly, remove the floating embroidery, and ensure that the original adhesion is tight The dense paint does not need to be removed. The surface treatment standard refers to the St2 level.

 

 

Apply a layer of anti-corrosion primer evenly on the cement surface and edge plate surface to form the first waterproof layer.
